PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say a 36-year-old man sought as a suspect in the stabbing death of his aunt has now been charged with bank robbery in Monday’s holdup of a Chase Bank branch in Canby, Oregon.

The FBI said Wednesday that it is offering a reward of as much as $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Teddy Stivahtis, Jr., who has been charged with one federal count of bank robbery.

The agency says the robber walked into the bank branch located inside a grocery store, demanded cash from a teller and left with an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was seen.

Canby is south of Portland.

Police in the east Portland suburb of Gresham say Stivahtis is a suspect in the Oct. 10 death of 70-year-old Deanna Stivahtis.
