BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) - Officials say a man was stabbed and wounded aboard a Los Angeles County Metro bus in Beverly Hills and a suspect is under arrest.

Metro spokesman Paul Gonzales tells City News Service that the man was stabbed Wednesday night as the Wilshire Boulevard bus was entering Beverly Hills.

The driver pulled over next to The Beverly Hilton and several men got off and ran with the victim chasing them. Beverly Hills police arrested one of the men.

The victim was taken to UCLA Medical Center. There was no immediate word on his condition.

A female passenger was treated for a bump on her head she received during the incident.

No names have been released.
