CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle on a Cheyenne roadway.

Cheyenne Police Chief Brian Kozak tells KGWN-TV (bit.ly/11tGj8L) that the pedestrian was intoxicated and was crossing East Lincolnway outside of a crosswalk when the collision occurred at about 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Kozak says it does not appear the driver was at fault.

Police did not release any identifying information about the pedestrian.
