BAYTOWN, Texas (AP) - Police have arrested two teenagers who they say shot a 74-year-old Houston-area man while he was taking out his trash.

Baytown police tell KHOU-TV (https://bit.ly/1019EHe ) the 17-year-olds were arrested Wednesday in connection to the Monday shooting. Police say the teens confessed to the crime. It’s unclear if they’ve been charged.

The victim was flown to a Houston hospital after the attack. Police say he is expected to survive and described his condition as stable on Wednesday. His identity hasn’t been released.

Another 17-year-old suspect is also wanted by police.
