LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - The U.S. Postal Service is joining in the celebration marking the Belle of Louisville’s 100th birthday.

A commemorative postmark will be available Saturday in Louisville.

The Postal Service says a limited number of vintage steamboat stamps with the Belle of Louisville cancellation will be available for purchase.

The commemorative postmark will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. EDT Saturday on Festival Plaza at Waterfront Park in downtown Louisville.

The Belle of Louisville is celebrating with the Centennial Festival of Riverboats, which began Tuesday and runs through Sunday. As many as 300,000 people are expected for events that include cruises, riverboat races and parades, fireworks, a balloon glow and musical entertainment.
