BUNNELL, Fla. (AP) - Police say a pregnant woman stabbed a northeast Florida woman during an argument.

Brittany LaShay Galvin was arrested a day after the Monday night attack in Bunnell.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal (https://bit.ly/1sX4VT2 ) reports Galvin and her friend were going to her sister’s house when she heard her name being called and a “number of individuals came out of nowhere” and attacked her.

But as police interviewed Galvin, they were notified that Shontrelle Harris had checked into a hospital with multiple stab wounds. She told police she met up with Galvin after hearing she wanted to talk with her. Harris told police Galvin pulled a small knife and stabbed her twice. Two women with her corroborated her story.

Galvin remains in the Flagler County Jail. It’s unknown whether she’s hired an attorney.
