HARTFORD, Vt. (AP) - A section of Interstate 91 in Hartford, Vermont, is back open after a tractor trailer driver lost control of the vehicle, spilling its cargo of rolled paper onto the highway.

Vermont State Police said the vehicle was in the left southbound lane on I-91 at about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday when the driver lost control and it went down an embankment. The driver’s side crashed into a rock ledge.

The trailer was cut open and the rolled paper cargo spilled onto the interstate. The tractor trailer then crashed into a guard rail and back onto the highway, where its cargo continued to spill.

The interstate was temporarily closed between Exit 12 and Exit 11 while the tractor trailer and debris were removed.

The driver was not hurt.
