BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Boulder County’s Parks and Open Space Department wants $7 million included in next year’s county budget to continue making repairs after September’s 2013 flood damage to county-owned land.

Parks and Open Space director Ron Stewart told the Board of County Commissioners on Thursday that much of the $7 million in proposed county spending would eventually be reimbursed from other agencies.

The Longmont Times-Call reports (https://tinyurl.com/lnbqbq4 ) repairs and flood-recovery projects could continue for the next several years.
