LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The forest management tour scheduled for Oct. 22 at the Batesville Station has been postponed until spring 2015.

University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture assistant forestry professor Kyle Cunningham says unforeseen factors made it difficult for some people to attend the event at the Livestock and Forestry Station at that scheduled time.

Cunningham says the research and extension faculty at the Arkansas Forest Resources Center will still continue to develop demonstrations and field-based educational programs on the station for future programs.

For more information on forestry, residents should contact their county extension office or visit www.uaex.edu .
