ATLANTA (AP) - The Fulton County district attorney says he’ll seek the death penalty for two men accused in the killing of a DeKalb County couple.

Richard Augusta “Fathead” Wilson and Andre Cleveland Gay face multiple charges, including murder, in the deaths of 23-year-old Jeronta Brown and his pregnant girlfriend, 21-year-old Briana Brooks. The two were kidnapped steps from their DeKalb County home Aug. 30 and were found with gunshot wounds 17 miles away in northwest Atlanta.

Brown was dead when they were found. Brooks died several days later when she was taken off life support.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (https://on-ajc.com/1sxg5uV ) Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said Friday he plans to pursue the death penalty. Howard also said Wilson and Gay have been responsible for nine deaths in Fulton County since 1990.
