MARQUETTE, Mich. (AP) - A man has pleaded guilty in a truck-motorcycle crash that killed two Keweenaw County motorcyclists.

Raymond Anderson made the plea Thursday in Marquette County District Court to two counts of moving violation causing death. The misdemeanor is punishable by up to a year in jail and a $2,000 fine.

The June crash in Ishpeming killed 64-year-old Gary Kappler and 52-year-old passenger Diane Palosaari.

Authorities say the 19-year-old Anderson turned his truck into the path of the motorcycle, which had the right of way.

A sentencing date has not been set.
