CLIFTON, N.J. (AP) - No one was injured when a New Jersey Transit train struck an abandoned vehicle in Clifton.

NJ Transit spokeswoman Nancy Snyder says the train wasn’t carrying any passengers when the engineer spotted the vehicle on the tracks and tried to stop around 5:20 a.m. Friday.

The crash caused delays of 15 to 20 minutes on the Main Line.

Snyder says officials are trying to determine who owns the car.
