UNIONTOWN, Pa. (AP) - A former western Pennsylvania pastor who pleaded no contest to molesting three young girls and trying to molest a fourth will spend three to six years in prison.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review (https://bit.ly/1pkJgOu ) reports 67-year-old Ray Scott Teets, of South Union Township was sentenced Friday by a Fayette County judge.

Teets, the former pastor at Fallen Timbers Community Chapel in Springhill, was arrested in November and charged with taking an 11-year-old girl to a woodshed and trying to inappropriately touch her. Prosecutors say that happened after the girl and her parents broke with the church and had warned Teets not to contact her.

After Teets’ arrest three other girls aged 5 to 8 accused Teets of molesting them.

Teets pleaded no contest to charges stemming from all four girls’ allegations in July.
