CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) - Cedar Rapids police say a motorcyclist has been seriously injured after fleeing from an officer and crashing into a house.

KWWL-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1CuJ3OE ) the crash happened Thursday evening. Police say the motorcyclist was driving recklessly and sped off when an officer tried to initiate a traffic stop.

The officer stopped following the motorcycle after the pursuit became dangerous. A jogger later flagged down the officer and said the motorcycle had crashed into a house.

Police haven’t released the identity of the driver or announced any charges. No other injuries were reported.
