PITTSBURGH (AP) - A Pittsburgh police recruit has been arrested and put on unpaid leave after he was charged with providing alcohol to an 18-year-old college student in exchange for sex, and intimidating a witness in the case.

Online court records don’t list an attorney for 21-year-old Cyrus Sukhadia, who was awaiting arraignment Friday.

Police haven’t detailed the allegations against Sukhadia, and court papers were not public before the arraignment.

Police say Sukhadia will be on leave until the criminal charges are adjudicated.

Police didn’t say when or where the alleged crimes took place.
