ATLANTA (AP) - Police say two people are dead after a fiery crash involving a car and an 18-wheeler on Interstate 285 in Atlanta.
Authorities say a car was stopped or moving very slowly when it was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer in a northbound lane.
The car burst into flames and the two people inside died at the scene.
The truck driver wasn’t injured.
The wreck happened about 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Police say no charges have been filed, and the victims’ names haven’t been released.
