LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Laramie is getting a reputation for the large number of people who ride bicycles to work.

According to the Laramie Boomerang (https://tinyurl.com/oo6vgto ), the city has one of the highest number of bicycle commuters in the country.

Local cycling supporters say they are not surprised.

Peggy McCrackin, a member of the city of Laramie’s Parks and Recreation master plan committee, says bicycling and trails are valued by the community and should be reflected in the city’s long-term planning.
