PHOENIX (AP) - A man arrested after a brawl with an Arizona State University fraternity last year has changed his plea in the case.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 20-year-old Caleb Everett pleaded guilty Friday to assault and disorderly conduct.

He originally pleaded not guilty a month after the brawl.

Everett is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 10.

Tempe police say Everett was arrested shortly after the fraternity brothers were attacked by a group of people armed with baseball bats and handguns on April 28, 2013.

Authorities say the fight was over a high school girl from Surprise at the frat party.

They say Everett was the girl’s boyfriend and he and two friends came back looking for revenge.

The suspects allegedly attacked five members of Delta Kappa Epsilon and two suffered serious injuries.
