HAYNEVILLE, Ala. (AP) - The trial for a man accused of killing 9-year-old twins and their caretaker has been rescheduled for April.

Deandra Marquis Lee was supposed to go on trial on capital murder charges this week in Lowndes County, but Circuit Court Judge Terri Bozeman Lovell postponed it at the request of defense attorneys. The judge has issued an order resetting the trial for April 6.

Lee has pleaded not guilty in the 2012 shooting deaths of twins Jordan and Taylor Dejerinett of Montgomery and 73-year-old Jack Mac Girdner of Hope Hull. Their bodies were discovered in Lowndes County.
