ROSE HILL, N.C. (AP) - Duplin County deputies are looking for a car that struck and killed a man riding a moped.

Authorities told local media outlets a burgundy or maroon Honda Accord was making a left turn around 8 p.m. Saturday when it hit the moped driver at an intersection near Rose Hill.

The Honda driver did not stop. Troopers say the car is likely missing its front bumper and a headlight.

Deputies say 55-year-old Jesse Williams died at the scene of the crash.
