WARWICK, R.I. (AP) - Two men face sexual assault charges following an investigation into the alleged kidnapping and rape of a 14-year-old girl.

State police arrested Robert Perry of Coventry on Tuesday on charges of kidnapping a minor and sexual assault. An affidavit says he held the teenager for days after her mother reported her missing and forced her into sex repeatedly.

Lloyd “Paul” Baker of West Warwick faces a charge of third-degree sexual assault.

An affidavit says the 57-year-old Perry encountered the teenager in West Warwick on Aug. 20, after she went for a run. Authorities say he pulled her into his car.

New York City police found the girl in New York City two weeks after she disappeared.

Perry’s lawyer declined comment Wednesday. Baker was referred to the public defender’s office.
