ABBEVILLE, Ala. (AP) - An Abbeville woman has been found guilty of manslaughter in the fatal stabbing of her cousin in 2010.

Attorney Arthur Medley said a jury this week found his client, 45-year-old Pamela Nanette Kelley, guilty of a felony manslaughter charge.

Kelley had faced a murder charge but the jury found her guilty of the lesser charge of manslaughter in the killing of 32-year-old Bunard Reynolds. He died from a stab wound on Dec. 6, 2010.

Medley said Kelley is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 14. She faces up to 20 years in prison.

Medley told The Dothan Eagle (https://bit.ly/1pIlLxJ) that his client testified that she acted in self-defense after Bunard attacked her.
