BARRE, Vt. (AP) - A Barre man has been charged in three store robberies in the area in the last month.

Thirty-four-year-old Damian Barnett was arraigned on three felony counts of assault and robbery on Thursday. He pleaded not guilty.

Court documents say he threatened a store clerk and robbed the Trow Hill Grocery in Barre Town on Sept. 22, threatened a store clerk and robbed the Fast Stop in Barre on Sept. 23, and knocked an employee to the ground and stole more than 900 Oxycodone pills at the Berlin Shaw’s Osco Pharmacy on Sept. 28.

Barnett was being held on $100,000 bail.
