VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) - The Clark County sheriff’s office says deputies found a travel trailer that was stolen from an 86-year-old man who calls it home.

The sheriff’s office said Thursday that a story in The Columbian about last week’s theft in Vancouver led to tips that helped deputies locate and identify the trailer. Deputies arrested a 42-year-old man for investigation of possessing stolen property.

The trailer was returned to the owner. The Columbian reported he came out of a restaurant Friday to see someone hooking up his trailer to a pickup truck and driving off.

The 86-year-old lives year-round in the trailer - Arizona in the winter and Washington in the summer. The trailer has a personalized Arizona license plate that reads “MIHOME.”
