BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A North Dakota man has been sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting two girls.

The Bismarck Tribune (https://bit.ly/YURcyB ) reports that 25-year-old Cyrus Cuba has pleaded guilty to two counts of Class AA felony gross sexual imposition.

Mercer County State’s Attorney Jessica Jo Binder says Cuba entered his plea in exchange for two five-year prison sentences to run concurrently.

The Beulah man has also been ordered to complete sex offender treatment while in prison and must register as a sex offender after being released.

Authorities in court records have said Cuba sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl after he lured her to his camper. Authorities say a detective later found out that Cuba had also sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl.
