NORFOLK, Neb. (AP) - A groundbreaking ceremony has been set for a proposed residence hall and dining facility on the Northeast Community College campus in Norfolk.

The Norfolk Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/10mf5Ao ) that the ceremony will be held Oct. 9 to mark the start of construction on the $19 million addition on the northwest edge of campus.

Gov. Dave Heineman will be among those speaking at the event, which is open to the public.
