KERNERSVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Forsyth County sheriff’s deputies have charged a 15-year-old boy with killing a 75-year-old man in Kernersville.

Chief Deputy Brad Stanley told local media outlets that deputies were called to the home of Clarence Nelson Parrish late Sunday morning to check on him and found him dead.

The sheriff’s office said Parrish’ body was found in the edge of woods near his driveway. They have not said how he died.

Parrish’s body has been taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for an autopsy.

The State Bureau of Investigation is helping with the case.

The teen’s name has not been released because of his age.
