CHERRY CREEK, Colo. (AP) - The Aurora Police Department is investigating after a Cherry Creek middle school student was shot in the leg with a pellet gun on a school bus and another student was injured while getting off the bus.

Officials said four unidentified students were suspended from Laredo Middle School following the incident on Thursday.

School officials said the four were suspended because one of them fired the shot and the other three knew about the gun and didn’t report it to officials.

Authorities say none of the injuries are serious.
