SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Police say a group of people inside an SUV committed a drive-by shooting in Salt Lake City using Airsoft guns.

Authorities say the incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. Friday in the area of 1100 South and 200 East.

Two people told police they were outside when a grayish-tan Chevy Tahoe with four passengers drove by and fired multiple Airsoft pellets from three to four guns.

One person reported being hit in the leg by a pellet.

Witnesses say the driver was wearing a mask that resembled an old man, while the other passengers were described as Hispanic males.

Airsoft pellets are not lethal, but can cause pain.
