JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Hinds County officials say skeletal remains found over the weekend in Terry are believed to be those of a 78-year-old woman who disappeared in April.

The Clarion-Ledger reports (https://on.thec-l.com/1s1HX6E ) Hazel Bozeman Williams was last seen April 7 when she walked away from her Terry home. Family members said she had Alzheimer’s.

Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart said officials suspect the remains will end up belonging to Williams, but that scientific tests will confirm any identification.

The remains were found in a wooded cow pasture within just a few miles of Williams’ home.

Grisham-Stewart said there is no reason to suspect foul play.
