KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) - Flathead County officials have released the name of a 66-year-old Somers man who died in a weekend house fire.

The sheriff’s office says Danny Ray McCarroll was the only person in the house when the fire was reported at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday. A neighbor pulled McCarroll from the house, but he was already dead.

Sheriff Chuck Curry tells the Daily Inter Lake that the cause of the fire and the reason for McCarroll’s death are still being investigated.
