RED BANK, S.C. (AP) - A Lexington County teacher has been charged with driving under the influence after arriving at school.

WIS-TV reported (https://bit.ly/1sKawJV ) that Jan Curtis was charged after a Cayce police officer followed her to Red Bank Elementary School on Monday morning.

The Department of Public Safety says officers said that Curtis was weaving across the center line of the highway and off the right side of the road before arriving at school.

Curtis told authorities she had two glasses of wine Sunday night. Public Safety Department officials say Curtis failed sobriety tests in the school parking lot and was arrested.

It was not clear if she has an attorney.
