SALISBURY, N.C. (AP) - Two people had died and two others were hurt in a wreck in Salisbury.

Investigators told local media outlets that the wreck happened late Tuesday afternoon when the victims’ car was rear-ended by a pickup truck.

The names of the victims have not been released while family members are notified.

Investigators said the two people in the back seat were killed. The driver of the car was taken to Novant Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury. The front seat passenger was flown to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem for treatment.

The truck driver was not hurt.

No charges have been filed.
