EL PASO, Texas (AP) - Federal authorities have arrested a West Texas man who they say tried to cross the U.S. border with nearly 150 pounds of marijuana hidden in his car bumper.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials say the 25-year-old from El Paso was arrested over the weekend at the Paso Del Norte Bridge while entering Texas from Mexico. They say a drug-sniffing dog alerted officers to the stash and officers performed an X-ray scan.

Seventy five bundles of the drug were recovered from the vehicle.

No charges were reported.
