MARQUETTE, Mich. (AP) - A $2.9 million federal Community Facility loan will be used to renovate and make fitness center additions to the Marquette County YMCA.

A groundbreaking is scheduled Wednesday morning in Marquette in the Upper Peninsula.

U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development State Director for Michigan James J. Turner also announced a Friday afternoon open house for a new surgical complex at Mackinac Straits Health System in St. Ignace.

The surgery suite with two operating rooms is being funding by a $3 million Community Facility loan.
