ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A man wounded after being shot right after an armed robbery at an Albuquerque-area store is accused of murder and other crimes in a criminal complaint.

The complaint released late Tuesday accuses Ruben Lucero of murder, robbery, aggravated assault and child abuse in connection with the Monday evening robbery.

According to the complaint, one of the people held at gunpoint was a juvenile. The murder accusation stems from the death of an alleged accomplice, Christopher Garza.

The complaint says two men entered the store and held people inside at gunpoint while robbing the owner of cash and other items before driving off.

The store owner told investigators then he fired several shots at the robbers’ fleeing vehicle as a person inside pointed a gun out a window.
