YONKERS, N.Y. (AP) - A New York man who eluded capture for two years in the killing of two people by disguising himself as a woman has been sentenced to 13- years in prison.

Ronnell Jones, who was featured on “American’s Most Wanted,” was captured in Chicago in 2012.

The Journal News (https://lohud.us/1sO7gNA ) says he was sentenced Tuesday.

He was convicted in June of killing two people and injuring four others during a home invasion in Yonkers on July 6, 2010.

Authorities say the 26-year-old Jones and two co-defendants went to the apartment looking for cash. They say the trio started firing even though their demands for money were met.

His co-defendants have been sentenced after pleading guilty.
