NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Rev. Al Sharpton is scheduled to speak at Tennessee State University in Nashville on Thursday.

The event is set to begin at 6:15 p.m. at Kean Hall in the athletics lobby.

Sharpton is the host of PoliticsNation on MSNBC, and the founder of his own broad-based progressive civil rights organization, the National Action Network.

His topics at Thursday’s event will include discussions on disparities in sports, business and politics, as well as other social issues.
