WINSLOW, Ark. (AP) - An Arkansas & Missouri Railroad spokesman says two trains involved in a crash that injured more than a dozen people could soon be up and running again.

Ron Sparks tells KHOG-TV (https://bit.ly/1wnTB0a ) the engines are in a repair shop but could be operational as early as Thursday.

A freight train collided with a sight-seeing passenger train in northwest Arkansas on Oct. 16. A National Transportation Safety Board member says the freight train was coming to help the stalled passenger train.

Authorities say 50 people were on the two trains and 37 were able to walk away from the accident.
