HELPER, Utah (AP) - Authorities say two people are dead after a high-speed chase in Carbon County ended in a fiery crash into a house.

The incident began around 1 a.m. Friday, when officers were called to reports of a fight at The Tuscan restaurant in Price.

A deputy tried to stop a vehicle in the parking lot, but it fled.

Another deputy and a Helper city police officer pursued the vehicle, which was going about 120 mph, but lost sight of it until they saw a cloud of dust near the road.

They found the car struck a house on River Street in Helper and burst into flames along with the home itself.

The fire was extinguished, and two people were found dead inside the vehicle. Their identities have not yet been released.
