DAVIS, Okla. (AP) - Authorities in central Oklahoma say a person has died after a collision between a train and a semitrailer.

Davis Police Chief Dan Cooper tells KWTV-TV (https://tinyurl.com/kx27vs2 ) that the accident blocked several railroad crossings in the city on Friday morning. He says the crossings may be closed for hours during the investigation.

Traffic delays are expected after the accident site is cleared. Cooper has asked residents to plan ahead and budget extra time for travel.

Police haven’t identified the person who died. They didn’t say what caused the crash.
