NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - U.S. Marshals have arrested a man in Nashville who had been sought in El Salvador on a charge of aggravated homicide and twice deported.

U.S. Attorney’s spokesman David Boling says 39-year-old Cesar Cruz-Marin illegally re-entered the United States after being previously deported for a manslaughter conviction in California in 1998.

Boling says Marshals were searching for Cruz-Marin after receiving word he was wanted in his home country on the homicide charge. Boling says the slaying happened in December 2010.

Bolin says Cruz-Marin had been using a false name when he was arrested.

In July 2009 Cruz-Marin was found in a jail in the United States and was again sent to El Salvador.
