OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - An Oklahoma City attorney has been indicted on three counts of traveling to Peru to have sex with children.

Federal prosecutors said an indictment unsealed Friday alleges that 59-year-old Michael Dean Billings conspired to travel to Iquitos, Peru, in order to have illegal sex with children.

Online court documents show that Billings pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Friday and that he was ordered held without bail pending a detention hearing scheduled for Monday. The documents do not list an attorney for Billings.

If convicted, Billings faces up to life in prison, a $250,000 fine, and registration as a sex offender for life.
