TULSA, Okla. (AP) - A convicted felon in Oklahoma has been sentenced to life in prison for fatally stabbing a man.

The Tulsa World reports (https://bit.ly/1sXbK4q ) jurors found 57-year-old Dennis Daney guilty of first-degree murder on Thursday. They imposed the maximum punishment available, a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

Authorities say the Tulsa man stabbed 31-year-old Justin Todd in 2013. They say Daney was found with a bloody knife in his pocket.

Daney had prior felony convictions for drug, DUI and assault crimes.
