TURIN, Italy (AP) - Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has signed a new contract with the Italian giant, tying him to the Serie A club until 2019.

Juventus confirmed the deal Friday, saying that chief executive Giuseppe Marotta had announced at a shareholders’ meeting that “before coming here we signed Paul Pogba’s contract extension which binds us until 2019.”

Pogba’s previous deal was set to expire in 2016.

The France international joined from Manchester United in 2012 and helped Juventus to two successive Serie A titles.

The 21-year-old midfielder has been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, as well as a return to the Premier League.
