SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say a window washer is in critical condition after he accidentally hit a power line and caught fire.

The Riverside Press-Enterprise (https://bit.ly/1sjsEGT ) says the man was using a 30-foot pole to wash windows at a San Bernardino County building Friday morning when he touched a 115,000-volt electrical line.

City fire Battalion Chief Nathan Cooke says the man had serious burns and was hospitalized in critical condition.

Another window washer wasn’t hurt.

Health and safety officials and arson investigators are looking into the accident.
