MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) - Two days after an Iowa fast-food worker’s bicycle was stolen from outside the Culver’s restaurant where he worked someone surprised him with a new one.

The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1zcukuh ) Nathan King came out of the Mason City restaurant Saturday and found a new silver Schwinn hybrid bike waiting for him.

King says the gift made him feel special, and he wishes he could thank the anonymous person who gave him the new bike.

King has worked at Culver’s for 10 years, and he relied on his old bike for transportation all those years. It disappeared during his shift on Thursday.

King has completed several marathons and he’s a member of the North Iowa All Stars Special Olympics basketball team.
