HARRISON, Ark. (AP) - The trial of a former Shiloh Baptist Church pastor in Harrison on sexual assault charges is being delayed.

Deputy Boone County Prosecutor Chris Carter told The Harrison Daily Times (https://bit.ly/1wApwe0) that the trial of 35-year-old Larry Berkley will be continued until after his trial in Tennessee on similar charges.

Berkley was arrested in Covington, Tennessee, on May 6 on Arkansas charges of sexual assault, sexual solicitation, furnishing alcohol to a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and loaning pornography to minors.

He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

He was later indicted in Lauderdale County, Tennessee, on charges that include rape, statutory rape and sexual battery.
