HOMER GLEN, Ill. (AP) - Authorities say at least two people were injured when a tractor tipped during a tractor ride at a popular suburban Chicago pumpkin farm.

Will County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Kathy Hoffmeyer tells The Daily Chronicle in DeKalb that (https://bit.ly/1pRFe08 ) one adult and an unrelated 3-year-old child were taken to a hospital as a precaution.

She says the tractor and trailer carrying 12 people at Bengtson’s Pumpkin Farm in Homer Glen was going down an embankment around 2 p.m. Monday when part of the trailer broke. She says the trailer tipped, but did not flip over.

Hoffmeyer says the other riders declined treatment.

The farm is a popular destination for pumpkins, hay rides and food.

A phone call to Bengtson’s seeking comment was not immediately returned.
