ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Police in Albany say they’re investigating two separate shootings over the weekend that left three men with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials say officers responded late Saturday night to an area near South Pearl Street for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a 31-year-old man who had been wounded. He was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment.

Later that night, staff at the hospital notified police that a 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound had arrived at the emergency room. Officials later determined that the second man was wounded during the same shooting.

On Sunday afternoon, officers responded a report of a shooting on Elk Street. They found a 46-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He also was treated at Albany Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
